Dhanush, Aishwarya, Shruti launch 3 single track

It was a fun-filled gala evening at Express Avenue today where Dhanush, his wife Aishwarya, Shruti Haasan and debutant music director Anirudh launched the single track, 'Why this kolaveri di?', from their upcoming film 3. The event was organised by a leading FM station and apart from the launch desi band Hip-hop Thamizha performed three tracks from their upcoming album.
The crowds went crazy as soon as the 3 team entered the venue! Before launching the single. the track was also played for the fanson the big screen. The song 'Why this kolaveri di?' has been rendered by Dhanush and Shruti Haasan. Interestingly Dhanush has penned the lyrics of all the songs in 3. Later Dhanush sang this much awaited number live for his fans; he also thanked his fans for their unconditional love and support. Aishwarya and Shruti Haasan maintained a low profile throughout the event while newcomer Anirudh said that he is 'lucky to work with Dhanush so early in his career'. Sony Music has bagged the music rights of the film.
Towards the end of the event the maddening crowd was really uncontrollable and the bouncers rushed to the rescue of the stars. Looks like the crowds are in 'Kolaveri' to listen to the whole album and of course watch the movie after listening to the single.
