Director Shankar and Lingusamy are ready for the race for Pongal, with each ready with one huge release for this festive season. At this juncture director Shankar has called his colleague Lingusamy and wished good luck for the latter's 'Vettai.'
Director Shankar has readied his multi-starrer 'Nanban' which is the remake of Bollywood's '3 Idiots.' The film has a host of stars with the director bonding with Ilayathalapathy for the first time. Director Lingusamy who is popular for his fast-paced racy scripts has also got his team ready with 'Vettai.' This film too has a host of stars in Maddy, Arya, Sameera and Amala Paul getting together for the hunt.
While there is no doubt that the film buffs will have a happy time theatre hopping, there is a lot of anticipation going on as to which director will hit the bull's eye in satisfying and entertaining the audience.
