Composer S S Kumaran has issued a clarification that he is not the music director of the recently released film 'Venmani'. He also said he is going to file a complaint with Producers Council against the movie's producer and director for misusing his name.
In a statement today, Kumaran said he was shocked to know through reviews and advertisements that it was being claimed by those behind 'Venmani' that he has scored music for the movie.
"I never worked for Venmani. It was unlawful to claim that I had composed for it. Hence I have decided to take this issue to the notice of the Tamil Film Producers Council," he said.
Kumaran also requested journalists not to mention his name as the music composer of 'Venmani' while writing the film's reviews.
