Pregith is the name of Mamta's life partner and he is from Bahrain. He was born and brought up in the foreign land and has some business interests in Cochi too. He was a childhood friend of Mamta's and they decided to enter wedlock after obtaining permission from their respective parents.
"It is a special moment in my life," says the actress, who exchanged rings with Pregith in Cochi on November 11 at noon. The wedding, sources say, will be held next year. It is yet unclear as to whether Mamta Mohandas would act or not post her wedding to Pregith.
The actress's next film in Tamil is 'Thadayara Thakka' opposite Arun Vijay, directed by Magizh Thirumeni of 'Mundhinam Parthene' fame. A couple of Mollywood projects are also in store for Mamta, who is not just an actress, but a singer too.
